Project Overview & Engineering Scope

Positive Power Bangladesh Ltd successfully engineered, supplied, erected, and commissioned a state-of-the-art 33/11kV industrial intake substation for Meghna Group of Industries at their flagship Meghnaghat manufacturing complex.

To support massive inductive motor loads and continuous pulp, paper, and consumer goods manufacturing lines, our team delivered a dual 10 MVA oil-immersed power transformer setup with an automatic on-load tap changer (OLTC) ensuring rock-solid 11kV busbar voltage stability during national grid fluctuations.

Scope of Turnkey Engineering

Turnkey architectural and civil foundation design for 33kV outdoor gantry towers, transformer plinths, and oil catchment separation pits.
Supply and erection of two (2) 10 MVA 33/11kV ONAN/ONAF oil-immersed power transformers with Buchholz relay, WTI/OTI trip units, and nitrogen fire suppression.
33kV outdoor switchyard installation including motorized disconnectors, lightning arresters, and vacuum circuit breakers (VCB).
11kV indoor metal-clad switchgear panel room featuring 12 outgoing vacuum feeder cubicles with microprocessor numerical protection relays.
Full secondary wiring, SCADA control desk, CT/PT ratio testing, and BPDB grid interconnection clearance.
